Camarata to perform Handel’s ‘Messiah’

Camarata Music Company’s Chorale and Orchestra will perform its annual concert of Handel’s “Messiah” on Dec. 13.

The performance will feature the Camarata Chorale, an amateur singing group made up of members from dozens of countries.

Soloists will perform parts of the work. They are soprano Alida Mostert, countertenor Jeong Min-ho, tenor Kim Joo-han and bass Seong Seung-wook. The event will also include a preconcert Christmas performance by Bucheon Civic Children’s Choir.

The event will start at 7 p.m. at the Chungdong First Methodist Church in Jeong-dong, opposite Seoul Museum of Art.

Tickets are 20,000 won in advance or 30,000 won at the door. For reservations, email tickets@camaratamusic.com.
