Camarata to perform Beethoven mass, concerto

Camarata Music Company’s Chorale and Orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Mass in C Major and Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major on Saturday.

The mass will be sung by the Camarata Chorale, an amateur singing group that has included members from over 60 different countries since its inception.

Special guest performers will include German pianist Andreas Ehret, who will play the concerto, and the vocal soloists: soprano Myung-sung Han, alto Yeon-sun Cho, tenor Bok-nam Kim, and bass Seung-wook Seong.

The concert will also feature the debut performance of the Camarata Children’s Choir, which was formed this year.

The concert will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Chungdong First Methodist Church in Central Seoul.
