Police raided the offices of Daelim Industrial on Wednesday in an investigation into suspicions that former and incumbent company officials took kickbacks from subcontractors seeking illicit favors.

Investigators searched Daelim's headquarters in central Seoul and another Daelim building nearby to seize documents and other evidence over suspicions that company officials accepted hundreds of millions of won from subcontractors seeking such favors as winning additional orders or inflating construction costs.
